Marnong Estate Live at The Little Food Market

Marnong Estate is thrilled to be part of The Little Food Market, a vibrant event celebrating the best of regional produce, culinary craftsmanship and food culture in the heart of Melbourne.

Across three flavour-filled days, discover artisan goods, farm-fresh ingredients and live cooking demonstrations by some of the region’s most talented chefs. From hand-crafted condiments to small-batch cheeses and boutique wines, there’s something to excite every palate. Be sure to catch Marnong Estate’s own Executive Chef Greg Feck and La Vètta Head Chef Marc Vadeboncoeur on the Main Stage, where they’ll present one of our most talked-about dishes: Gnocchi alle Cicale.

This indulgent creation features hand-rolled gnocchi paired with a decadent Moreton Bay Bug sauce, infused with cassia bark, star anise, curry leaf and Aleppo pepper. It’s a rich, comforting and deeply flavourful dish – and it pairs perfectly with our estate-grown 2024 Single Vineyard Fiano. Crisp, aromatic and vibrant, this wine cuts through the richness with finesse.

Even if you can’t catch the live demo, you won’t miss out. Our signature Moreton Bay Bug sauce will be available to purchase from the Marnong Estate stall, along with a printed recipe card so you can recreate the dish at home. While you’re there, learn more about our vineyard, cellar door, and dining experiences just 35 minutes from Melbourne.
