The peacocks at Marnong have been heckling comics for years. On Friday 30 October, someone finally heckles back.
The Australian Comedy Roadshow lands at The Angliss with a rotating line-up of festival headliners and TV favourites — a pro MC, a run of genuinely killer comics, two hours of stand-up, and a different show every time. It’s the big-room comedy experience, just 35 minutes from the CBD, inside one of Melbourne’s best rooms on a working farm. Funnier than a theatre, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

The Night
Turn it into a proper night out. Grab dinner at Cucina 3064 or La Vètta from 6:00pm, then stroll over to the show. No drive into the city, no hunting for parking, no scoffing your main in eleven minutes because doors are at 7.

Who It’s For
Comedy fans after the real deal. Friends’ nights, date nights, and that group chat that’s been saying “we should do something” since March. Anyone in Melbourne’s North who keeps meaning to catch live stand-up but isn’t keen on the midnight drive home.
Good to Know
- Strictly 18+. Bring ID. Expect some low-level coarse language — nothing your nonna hasn’t said about the footy, but leave the kids at home.
- Two ticket types, one seat. Early Bird ends 11:59pm Friday 9 October or after 60 tickets sell, whichever hits first. After that, it’s Better Late Than Never at standard price.
- Seating will be allocated.
- Access: The Angliss offers lift access and step-free entry to the room. Contact us or call reception on (03) 9216 3300 ahead of the night if you have access requirements, and we’ll hold a space for you. Reception’s open 7 days, 8am–6pm.
- Dinner is booked separately — Cucina 3064 and La Vètta take Friday bookings from 5:00pm. Book by 6:00pm to finish comfortably before the show.
- Marnong is licensed, so no outside food or drink. There’s a bar right there. Use it.

Refund policy
Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event date. Refund requests made within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
Tickets are not transferable to another event, date, or workshop.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend in your place.
