Looking for a kids painting activity these school holidays? With so many families searching for hands-on and creative things to do, we’ve designed Squiggle and Shake — a bright, fun-filled version of the classic paint and sip, made just for children aged 5–14 years. 🎨🖌️
A Creative Kids Painting Class These July Holidays
This kids painting activity at Marnong Estate invites children to explore their imagination in an inspiring and relaxed setting. Guided by one of our friendly instructors, each child will follow step-by-step directions to paint a farm animal on their very own canvas — ready to take home and proudly hang on the wall.
Whether they’re a budding young artist or simply love getting creative, this workshop is the perfect way to grow confidence, encourage self-expression and have fun!
What’s Included in This Kids Painting Workshop
- A guided session led by a talented instructor
- All supplies provided: canvas, paints, brushes and more
- Music to squiggle and shake along to
- A milkshake station with a choice of flavours

Whether you’re after a paint and sip for kids or a fun, creative outlet this school break, Squiggle and Shake is a joyful day out your child won’t forget.
Grab a Bite While at the Estate
BYO picnic rug* and relax on the lawn while the kids create their masterpiece. Try our Roman-style Pizza al Taglio from our Italian Street Kitchen — with food and drinks available all day from Vista, open 11:30am–5pm.
Our Coffee Cart will be at the event, so you can enjoy a fresh, hot coffee without leaving the workshop.
Please Note:
- Best suited for children aged 5–14 years. Younger kids may participate with hands-on adult support
- A supervising adult must stay with their child throughout the session
- Please do not feed the animals — their care is managed by our trained Pet Attendants
- BYO picnic blankets only. Marnong Estate is fully licensed; no outside food, drinks, pets or ball games allowed
