No experience required — just imagination.\nWhat should my child wear?\nOld clothes are recommended — creativity can get colourful! \nLimited seating is available along the side of the room for supervising adults. You’re welcome to stand and assist your child if needed. \n\n\nImportant Information\nMarnong Estate operates as a fully licensed venue. Therefore\, outside food and drinks are not permitted.\nTo ensure comfort for all guests\, pets and ball games are not allowed on the lawn areas. \nRefund policy\nRefunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event date. DESCRIPTION:School Holiday Pizza Making Workshop\nAbout the Event\n\nForget screen time – these school holidays\, kids step into the kitchen with the chefs of Marnong Estate to create their very own pizza from scratch. \nIf your child loves getting hands-on\, creative and just a little bit messy – this is their moment.\nThese July school holidays\, kids are invited into the Woolshed at Marnong Estate for a fun-filled Pizza Making Workshop designed to spark confidence\, creativity and plenty of smiles. \nThis isn’t just lunch. It’s an interactive experience where little chefs (ages 5–14) roll\, stretch and top their very own pizzas alongside our chefs\, learning new skills while enjoying an unforgettable family day out. From flour-covered hands to cheesy masterpieces fresh from the oven\, every moment is designed to feel playful\, engaging and memorable. \nAnd yes… they get to eat the pizza too. \nThe Experience\n\nFresh pizza dough ready to stretch and shape\nChef-guided pizza making experience\nLearn to make a delicious margherita pizza\nYour child’s handmade pizza to enjoy\nFun photo opportunities with chef hats and pizza creations\nJunior Pizza Chef certificate to take home\nMini recipe card to recreate the experience at home\n\nSessions: Times\nSession 1 : 10:00am – 11:00am\nSession 2 : 12:30pm – 1:30pm \nBOOK NOW\n\n\nMake a Day of It\nWhile the kids become mini pizza chefs\, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Marnong Estate.\nGrab a coffee\, breakfast or lunch from Vista from 10am\, settle onto the lawns\, and turn a simple workshop into a memorable family day out. \nImportant Dietary & Allergy Information \nPlease note this workshop is not suitable for children with food allergies or dietary requirements.\nDue to the nature of this hands-on cooking experience\, we are unable to cater for dietary requests\, substitutions\, or allergy-safe preparation.\nIngredients used throughout the workshop may include: \n\nGluten\nDairy\nWheat\nTomato\nGarlic\nOther common allergens\n\nAs all pizzas are prepared in a shared kitchen environment\, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.\nIf your child has any food allergies\, intolerances\, coeliac disease\, or dietary requirements\, unfortunately this workshop may not be suitable. \nParent Information \n  \nDo parents need to stay?\nYes — a parent or guardian must remain onsite for the full duration of the workshop.\nWhile our team will guide the children through the pizza-making experience\, this is not a childcare service. Parents are welcome to relax nearby\, enjoy the estate\, or supervise from the seating area beside the workshop space.\nLimited seating is available inside the room for supervising adults. \nWhat age group is the workshop suitable for?\nThe workshop is designed for children aged 5–14 years. Younger children may require a little more hands-on help from their parent or guardian during the session. \nCan parents join in?\nParents are welcome to assist younger children if needed\, take photos and enjoy the experience from the side of the room.\nTo ensure every child has space to participate safely\, the pizza-making stations are designed primarily for registered children. \n\nWhat type of pizza will the children make?\nChildren will create a classic margherita-style pizza using fresh dough\, tomato sauce and cheese.\nPlease note we are unable to provide ingredient substitutions or alternative toppings. \n\nCan siblings or extra family members attend without a ticket?\nDue to limited capacity within the workshop space\, only ticketed children can participate in the pizza-making experience.\nParents and guardians accompanying children do not require a ticket to remain onsite. \nWhat happens if we arrive late?\nWe recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before your session begins.\nAs the workshop is run in small groups sessions\, late arrivals may miss important instructions or parts of the experience. \n\n\nImportant Information\nMarnong Estate is fully licensed.
