October | Lombardia La Vètta Dinner – Milan & Lake Como

For one night, experience the spirit of northern Italy. Imagine walking beneath the marble spires of Milan’s Duomo. Then picture gazing across Lake Como as the Alps catch the evening light. At La Vètta, those same stories unfold through flavour.

Lombardia is Italy’s dairy capital and grows most of its rice. Therefore, it became the birthplace of dishes that symbolise Milanese pride — from saffron risotto to rich cheeses. In fact, these ingredients remain central to northern Italian cooking today.

Your evening begins with tortelli di zucca, filled with pumpkin, nutmeg, and ricotta. Afterwards, slow-braised veal shin arrives with saffron rice and gremolata. With estate wine in hand, each bite opens a window into Lombardia’s abundance. Moreover, it offers a chance to taste history while enjoying the company of fellow guests in La Vètta’s dining room.

Liguria Dinner at La Vètta featuring authentic Italian regional dining

November | Liguria La Vètta Dinner – Genova, Cinque Terre & Portofino

Close your eyes and picture Liguria’s coast. Fishing boats rock in Portofino’s harbour. Meanwhile, pastel houses stack along Cinque Terre’s cliffs. Genoa’s palaces recall a time when the republic ruled the seas.

That maritime legacy continues in the food. For example, basil terraces gave us pesto alla Genovese. Moreover, Taggiasca olives and golden farinata carry the flavour of mountains and hearth. In addition, seafood traditions still shape many Ligurian dishes today.

At La Vètta, the Ligurian story is told through flavour. You will enjoy farinata topped with burrata and pesto. Also, panzotti folded by hand in walnut sauce bring a taste of tradition. Finally, rabbit braised with Taggiasca olives completes the experience. Each dish feels like dining in a trattoria overlooking the Ligurian Sea. However, here you savour it with laughter, and the glow of an Italian evening at the estate.
