To our valued customers & stakeholders,
In response to the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), We take this opportunity to reassure you – our guests, team members and partners – and share our proactive steps that are currently being undertaken to protect everyone.
Marnong Estate has always maintained rigorous health, food safety and hygiene practices within our Restaurant and Function spaces, we have implemented precautionary measures to ensure that these environments are even safer.
We are taking extra precautions to regularly disinfect public areas such as restrooms, door handles, front doors, tabletops and surfaces every hour. We have also placed hand sanitisers throughout all our Restaurant and Function areas, including entry points and bathrooms.
We also adhere to a strict wellness policy and have reinforced with our employees that they must stay at home if they are showing any signs of illness whatsoever. Before returning, they will need a doctor’s clearance to show that they are fit and healthy for work.
Since opening in 2018, we have grown and expanded as a venue and our core values remain the same. We are unwavering in our commitment to quality, community and caring for our people.
With COVID-19 evolving daily, at both a global and local level, it is only natural for people to retreat and to stop doing the things we love, such as shopping, visiting public places and gatherings – including dining out. We believe it’s vital we all continue to go out and support local businesses and events while it is safe to do so.
Our hope is to continue to deliver the extraordinary dining experience for which we are highly regarded, and to support the livelihood of our teams and suppliers.
We will closely monitor the advice and recommendations from those from public health authorities such as the World Health Organisation, internationally as well as the Victorian DHHF and Chief Medical Officer. In turn, we ask that you defer dining with us if you are showing any symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with the virus.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
