Marnong Estate's Private Dining Rooms - Etna Room and Toscana Room are located at opposite sides of La Vètta Ristorante nestled away for your own privacy, with polished finishings this will be sure to leave your guests amazed.
Set against rolling hills and the picturesque backdrop of the Macedon Ranges.

FAQ's
Can I bring a cake and any other desserts?
You are welcome to bring a cake for celebrations. Before arriving a Cake Waiver Form must be completed and submitted to the team. Any other external catering is not permitted.
Experience luxury with our $50 plateware service, featuring tableside slicing and serving. Opt for our $30 package for elegant plateware without tableside service.
Can I play my own music?
The venue has an inbuilt sound system that plays background music, however it’s unable to connect to your own devices.
Can I have a DJ?
DJs are not permitted as noise will travel into the main restaurant.
Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages?
Marnong Estate is a fully licensed venue and does not permit any BYO.
Does noise travel from the restaurant?
Noise may travel into the Private Dining Room from the main restaurant. We recommend coming and having a look at the venue to ensure the space meets any privacy requirements.
What AV do you have?
AV is not permitted in these private spaces.
Can I have my wedding in private dining room?
Wedding receptions are allowed in Private Dining Rooms. Please give reception a call on 9216 3300 for more information about weddings.
Professional cameras and photography
All professional photography requires approval prior to the day. Please contact reception on 9216 3300.
Can I bring in my own decorations?
Yes, absolutely! We include one hour of access prior to your event. Only table décor is permitted.
Private Dining Information
Private dining terms and conditions

The private dining rooms can seat a maximum of 36 guests on two tables in the private space.

A minimum of 15 guests or a spend of $2,000 is required for reservations in our private dining rooms unless otherwise stipulated by Marnong Estate.

No tentative bookings are available.

Menus are seasonal and subject to change. Other changes may occur before the function. If necessary, substituted dishes or wines will be of similar price and quality.
Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to reception@marnongestate.com at least 7 days in advance.
- A $60 per person fee will be charged for cancellations or reductions in guest numbers within 7 days or for no-shows.
Payment
- No deposit is required.
- Payment is to be made on the day of booking, at departure.
- Confirming a booking is considered acceptance of our terms and conditions.
- Payments via Visa and MasterCard may incur a 2% surcharge.
Cakeage
All cakes bought into Marnong Estate must be accompanied by a completed Cake Waiver Form to bring on the day.

Cakes cannot be stored by Marnong Estate and must be bought with you on the day of your event.
Conduct During Dining
The client shall conduct the booking in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules of the restaurant management, including dress code and in accordance with all applicable laws.
The provision to bring additional party supplies or theming items on-site, such as balloons, banners or any other decorations require approval in writing, from Marnong Estate, prior to the event. Securing party supplies or theming items to any fixtures or walls is strictly prohibited.
Marnong Estate is a fully licensed restaurant. No beverage or foods of any kind are permitted to be brought to the function room or the restaurant by the client, the client’s guests, or invitees.
Public Holidays: A surcharge may apply on total food and beverage charges. If the Event Date is a public holiday in Melbourne, Australia, a 15% surcharge applies; or New Year’s Eve, a 10% surcharge applies.
Additional cleaning costs may be incurred.
Indemnity / Force Majeure
Should Marnong Estate be unavailable to the client on the date it has been booked for reasons beyond our control; such as fire (including Code Red), pandemic, flood, Industrial Disputes or any other reason, Marnong Estate will not be liable for any loss or damages.
